As I was reading through James Joyce's "Araby," I wrote notes and highlighted key points within the story. From there, I sketched out different compositions and arranged them into the storyboards you see below.

Process Images for Final
After choosing an introductory scene and a climax scene from my storyboards, I created three black and white compositions of each. From there, I received critique from my peers and continued on with color concepts -- what mood did I want to portray? Would the mood be carefree? Should there be tension?
